Calm Is Built, Not Forced

For a long time, I believed calm came from fixing myself.

Trying harder.
Planning better.
Controlling more.

Letting go of that belief changed everything.

Calm isn’t forced into place.
It’s practiced.

Through repetition.
Through patience.
Through choosing steadiness over reaction — again and again.

Some days it works. Some days it doesn’t.

Progress isn’t the absence of struggle.
It’s the ability to return to yourself with less judgment.

That’s what calm really is.
